The Money Clip Workshop is for those handy fashionable people who want to make a statement with their accessories.We work with nickel silver for it’s advanced metal memory to hold it’s shape, with the option to have it gold plated afterwards! Based on their personal style, students design a decorative element to customize their money clip.

The money clip is a very functional piece of jewelry with a basic design that can be dressed up or down depending on your preference. Our instructors will demonstrate filing, forming techniques, and how to solder. They will also show you how to add decorative elements like a hammered texture or how to cut out a design.

How your money clip looks is entirely up to you! Students can choose if they want a high polished or matte finish. They can also experiment with different surface textures using hammers, files and burrs. Over the span of the two days we will show you how to make a super cool accessory that will last. Keeping your cash in one place has never looked so good!

Basic skills Learned:
Filing, bending and forming, piercing using the saw, basic soldering, basic surface texturing using hammers, metal finishing.
